best to pick a "needy family"and give it straight to em!

Very good idea here too hun, but I know alot of parents here where I live who collect welfare, and when they get their checks, instead of buying for the kids, they head straight to the bingo hall and after blowing money there and losing, they drown their sorrows in a case of beer while inhaling their many cartons of cigarettes. So I would like to be really choosy when picking a family in need. Get my drift? I am sure everyone knows families such as this, and it tears me apart!!
Yes I will really have to look into where the money REALLY goes with these charities!!
I want CoolCanucks to REALLY make a difference in someone's life! I want them to know that CoolCanucks family REALLY DOES care!!
I want us as a group to leave a special mark in their lives.
I love children so much and it hurts me.
I too am willing to fork out $20+. All I have to do is walk upstairs to hubbies wallet and yoink! LOL
